THIS VBS SCRIPT creates a .BMX and its folder named by the current date (YYMMDD) from a template setup bmx and loads it into buzz on request. if executed multiple times it creates versions (_02.._xx) of the last EDITED bmx file FOUND in the current folder (\YY\YYMMDD\YYMMDD_XX.BMX). So it provides a way to organize your worktunes. It comes in handy if you often create new Tracks from the same setup and require alot of savestates. But it can be used fOR ALL KINDS OF DOCUMENTS. CONFIGURE FOLLOWING variables in the script to your setup: 1) bmxWorkDir = "Drive:\PATH\" Which is the LOCATION where your bmx and folder will be created. the workdir is organized LIKE follows : bmxWorkDir\YY\YYMMDD\YYMMDD_01.BMX EXAMPLE: > E:\BUZZ\TRACKS\INWORK\11\110823\110823_01.bmx 2) bmxTemplateName = "xxxxxx.bmx" Which is the name of your template/Setup bmx file. Besides the default setting you can also use the keyboard shortcut < ctrl + H > while on the sequencer view to temporarly HIDE/show it.  DESCRIPTION: UNZIP "BuzzGUI.SequenceEditor.dll" into your buzz root folder. You might wanna Backup the existing dll first. |
